My niece has twins They did everything together until it was time for them to leave the country for further studies
One of the twins got admission to study in the US and the other got rejected. There is turmoil obviously. I do not know if the other will get to go and I also do not know why she was rejected They were both good in studies having secured first positions in most of the exams. One could read their names in loca; newspapers.
Both now need adjustments.

It’s hard when twins who are used to sharing everything suddenly have such different paths. Maybe the one who got rejected will find another opportunity just as good, even if it’s not in the US. Sometimes these things work out in unexpected ways.

I have not contacted my niece and I am feeling bad. She would have informed us all if there was good news to share.

@allknowing Don’t feel too bad. Sometimes people just need space when things don’t go as planned. I’m sure your niece will appreciate it when you reach out, even with a simple message to let her know you’re thinking of her.

That must be really hard on both of them. It’s tough when twins, who are so used to doing everything together, suddenly face such a big change. Hopefully the one who was rejected finds another good opportunity soon. Sometimes these things happen for a reason, even if it doesn’t feel that way now. Wishing them both strength as they adjust.
