Firefighters rescue a kitten that was trapped in a soccer net

Firefighters with the Modesto Fire Department in California answered an emergency call from a resident that saw a kitten tied up on a soccer net in the back yard of the resident. The residents had attempted to rescue the kitten at first but when they attempted to cut through the net. The problem was that the kitten was tied with ten inches of netting which required the firefighters to use trauma shears to carefully remove the net from the kitten who was released from the net that caught the animal.
