Prejudice is wrong and it is a negative word.
Prejudice is when you hate another person or group of people just because of their race.
Because they are different than you.
Prejudice is also based on age, race and religion. It is because you do not like someone just because they are different than you.
Remember we are all the same inside and God loves us all.

Over here,there is the law that forbids discrimination on the grounds of race or religion.

These days it is younger generation is prejudiced towards the older generation

There are people who are prejudiced against others for so many different reasons. Race is of course the one we hear of and notice more than any of the others....and then religion. Neither one of those are acceptable to me. I have friends from many races and many I know that follow other religions. We are all different, and we should celebrate the differences, not use them to inspire hate.

Lately, I have noticed there are some people even here on mylot that seem to have a vendetta against poor people. Being poor doesn't mean that you are a bad person. Not having money is not a crime or a negative trait. We don't often know the reasons for someone's finances--it could be health/high medical costs, loss of a job, loss of a loved one, or even just a series of unfortunate incidents. No one should ever be judged for not having money.

Yes, it is wrong to pre judge people based on some external characteristic like race, weight, age etc. Any kind of discrimination is wrong.

It reminds me of Pride and Prejudice of Jane Austen.
Anyway, I believe that God really loves u,s even those who reject him and ridicule him, Jesus stays the same and never changes His love and heart towards us, towards us who are not perfect and commit mistakes.
