Claw grab ….and winning lots of cuddly toys …..

So on Saturday we took the Grandkids to a new place that has opened in Birmingham. It is a place that has those claw grab machines ….do you know them ….you put your money in the slot and a huge pincer claw can be moved across then lowered to try and grab something ….your prize. Usually the prize gets dropped along the way but if you are lucky it falls down the shute and you have won it. Well, here you have to buy token which you put into the machines. Some machines take two tokens whilst other machines only need one token. I have to say that the prizes were quite good. Although I know that the odds are stacked against you I could also see that you did get plenty of prizes. They give you a tub for your tokens and a small trolley to push around to carry your prizes in…..good marketing …. Anyway The Mister bought lots of tokens and the Grandkids were well away playing on the machines. The Grandson is a bit of a whizz on these machines anyway , but the Grandaughter is catching him up. Personally I took a liking to a hedgehog and a highland cow …..The Mister kept playing until I had one of each to bring home. Yes, it was a bit expensive, but we all had a great time and we’re all happy with what we got . And yes, the Grandkids want to go again……
