I can't make this stuff up.
You know that I have a fractured foot, right?
Well, hubby now also has two broken toes.
Yep.
Apparently he was vacuuming last Thursday and jammed his foot into the foot of the ottoman. He didn't tell me until this morning because his toes were hurting. He let me look at them and they're very swollen and bruised and his small toenail is black.
Naturally he refuses medical treatment because he says the doctor can't do anything for broken toes and he's had them before (football injuries) and just has to suffer through it.
I swear the two of us walking together looks like two ducks waddling. It's insane!

And I'm still not sure that I haven't injured my good foot too. Hubby wants me to go to podiatrist again but I can't narrow down where the pain is coming from. I was going to ask for a "shoe" instead of a "boot" but I just saw my insurance bill for $797 for the "boot"

That's just silly! Of course a doctor can do something with broken toes! They need to be x-rayed and checked for severity of the break and then have a cast put on them to make sure they heal correctly so your hubby doesn't have problems walking on that foot. Even football players know that's true.
I hope your hubby gets his toes looked at by a doctor so proper measures can be taken.

How in the world does people get them selves hurt
in such a way ? I've fallen off ladders & steps & has
tripped over stuff many of times & never broke myself
up as bad as I have heard others doing, good lord
have mercy, that's just crazy, how does that happen?
I guess cause I drink a LOT of milk & the good lord
above watches over me that keeps me from such harm.
