Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 67 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is just 72 and we are expecting some rain.
I was up later than usual last night but still managed to get up with the alarm today without snoozing. I am sure I will be feeling it later though. 
Today the students have their first test which will be a shock for them. I've been telling them for 2 weeks that the class is a challenge and they 100% have to study. I'm sure most of the honors students did and I'm sure most of the college prep students did not. Today is going to be a wild ride. It always is.
No big plans for the afternoon. My head will explode if the management office doesn't answer the freaking phone and have maintenance get over here to deal with the dishwasher. I am going to try a new recipe for dinner. Such excitement right?

Good morning... It is 68F in my part of Missouri this morning. Our high may reach 90F by late this afternoon if we don't get any rain. (We have a 30% chance of rain/storms this afternoon. It sprinkled during the night but has stopped now.)
I have an appointment at the local hospital for an ultrasound on my thyroid. I haven't been to an Endocrinologist since last summer and my regular doctor just wants to check and make sure I'm still doing okay.
Pretty got a flu shot yesterday and we wanted the newest Covid shots but have to have prescriptions for those now... I'll call and arrange for our doctor to call those in to the Walmart pharmacy today.

Your morning is more exciting than mine, but I think with the cat crew I could say that every day. 
I’m trying to get a doctor to call in a prescription I need early due to going on the cruise. I know it’s earlier than normal, but I’ll run out if he doesn’t call it in. His nurse said he’d do it, but this guy is consistently inconsistent.
