Do You Carry Cash On You?

I saw an article this morning that said a Pew study showed that fewer people are carrying cash on them these days. I see it at the convenience stores where people are mostly paying with their phones. Young people don't even know what cash is. I've always got money on me, do you?

Yes, I always have some cash on me but hate having to go into the bank to get more out... Pretty won't carry cash and doesn't even carry her own debit cards... She hands her cards to me and expects me to carry them in my wallet. Some places here don't want debit or credit cards so we need the cash if we're going out to eat or to other small local businesses.

My current system is almost an "all cash" one. I find it's easier to manage spending when you can see it. I use cash for most purchases anymore. Groceries, household items, gas etc. Plus, it helps me to do additional saving by default because I take all the dollar bills and put them into an envelope. I generate coins and put them into a jar. The "breaks" from 20s help me to fund the Tuesday Challenge. It's just a system that works better for me.
