A book written by Frances Bruce Strain called Your Child, His Family, And Friends was checked out from a library in San Antonio Texas in July 1943.
The book was returned to the library in San Antonio Texas in late June when a package that was mailed from Oregon with a note stating that the book had been found in the home in Oregon from the writer's father possessions when the grandmother checked out the book when the father was about 11 years of age before the family moved from Texas to work in the United States Embassy in Mexico City Mexico.
The good news is that the book was returned from Oregon to San Antonio Texas safely. There will be no late fees on the book being returned late 82 years later since the late fees were waived in 2021.

It was lucky that they returned the book after the waiving of late fees, as if they had returned it in 1920, they might have had a large fine.
