They look tasty and may be also easy to make I have never made them and feel like giving them a try
I will create my own recipoe I will boil potatoes with salt, mash them, add cornflour, add a bit of water, flatten them and shallow fry them
I like anything made from potato and corn flour
Have you made them and how did you make them.?

Mom used to make them when I was a kid... I remember she added an egg and cheese into the mixture she made. It was good but I've never made them.

Adding egg and cheese must have made it delicious

I make Aloo banda ( deep fried) and Aloo tikki ( shallow fried with very little oil) in similar way. I add boiled potatoes to some pancakes that we make. I prefer to steam them the way we do for idli and then put tadka. Very less oil is used. I would mix roasted peanut powder and roasted sabudana( tapioca) powder for the pancake or steamed balls.

That steamed stuff must be like the multi flour dumplings I make
That roasted peanut powder and sabudana is it available readymade?

@allknowing Yes, it's like that dumpling. I generally roast them and grind them. You can check if they are available ready-made
