Hanging by a tiny patch of dirt

I took this photo on top of Elachbutting Rock which I’ve already told you about – several times in fact. These pretty little plants were growing in almost no earth at all.
I’m always surprised how plants will establish themselves in such tiny patches of dirt but seem perfectly happy and will flower and flourish in conditions that would see many domestic plants turning up their toes in disgust.

Where there's a will, there's a way when it comes to Nature.

They are definitely survivors with a strong will to live.

They are indeed and they looked very cheerful along the gaps in the rocks. Anywhere really where there was a bit of soil.

Some plants don't seem to need much dirt to grow.

But they are still lovely .Maybe they were in that place to give some beauty and comfort to everyone who passes by in that place.
