The Mister finished his course early ….he’s coming home.

So every so often The Mister has to do a ‘competent person ‘ course. This is so that he can take the lead at work. I won’t mention that one time he forgot to go ! Anyway, that course was on today. He is working in Rhyl in Wales at the moment so he had to travel this morning to Manchester. You never really know how long these courses are going to take ….waiting for folk to arrive, signing in, any problems or questions, traffic there and back. Anyway it was only 10.30 and he messaged to say all done and he was on his way home ….yay ! It will take him a couple of hours to get home ….if there are no traffic hold ups. Let the weekend begin ! What are your plans for the weekend ?

Wow! He finished really early! We're only planning on seeing what the sales are in the new-to-us grocery store this week. We really don't need any groceries since we bought groceries last Friday and normally only go every two weeks. But good sales are good sales and even if that $10 coupon off of $50 purchase is the only reason we go shopping, a $10 savings over what we normally pay at Walmart is still $10... We won't go until later today because there is a thick "pea-soup" fog here this morning. I won't drive in that unless I'm forced to do so... Getting to work on time was the only thing that can force me to drive in fog like that. Since I no longer work, we can wait Mother Nature out.

He got home fine ….now he is at our son’s shop putting up a tv bracket on the wall ……His Dad is apparently the only person who he trusts to do it properly …..he is also the only person who won’t charge him for doing it ! Ha ha
