Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 83 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. This is likely the last "summer" day that we have around here as things are supposed to cool down over the weekend. Work was good until the last 2 periods of the day. 7th period I have bathroom duty. They stopped having the students from the cafeteria through the computerized pass system today. Well 2 boys went into the bathroom and 1 of them SAT on one of the sinks which ripped it out of the wall. The principals and safety officers came running but all I could say was "check the cameras because they didn't use the pass system". So that was annoying. Then 8th period the marching band went through the halls because today is the first home football game. I was standing in the hallway watching them approach and I noticed a laser pointer being aimed on the wall over my head. It was coming from a classroom across the way. I guess I should be happy that the kid didn't aim it at my eyes. I am back at the apartment with the cat crew. I'm waiting on groceries to be delivered. Oh and I called the management office to follow up on the dishwasher situation. She said that maintenance said that they ordered parts. I guess the head guy came by to look at it while I was at work. Hopefully they can fix the damn thing next week. No big plans for the afternoon/evening other than trying a new recipe and paying some bills. I need to feed the sourdough starter too. Such excitement. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?
