A carvery ….and a free pud.

So we went for a carvery tonight for tea.
I had Turkey and pork and The Mister had gammon and Turkey.
A whole selection of veggies and of course the Yorkshire pudding, and gravy.
We go to the Toby carvery chain and have their app.
They have been featuring a game recently which I gave been playing ….and I won a FREE pudding.
I had hot chocolate fudge cake and ice cream.
I had the cake and The Mister had the ice cream.
Nice to have a freebie …and nice to share.

Both meals sound delicious but I would have wanted the cake and the ice cream. 
Sometimes I'm not willing to share.

I am mean and don’t like having just ice cream as a pudding when we are out …..we can buy two tubs for the same money as they charge for one pudding. It is not value for money at all. However The Mister doesn’t like cake type puddings ….or I would have had sticky toffee pudding and custard. This way we both had something we liked …I got chocolate cake and he got ice cream.

@Traceyjayne That's the reason Pretty and I get stuff to take home. We don't like wasting money and know it's cheaper to buy the whole cake and the tub of ice cream instead of servings of both.
