Finally some Rain

We had a Nice Rain...not a downpour...a Light Rain. The plants got a good drink of water not a gusher. It came off and on for about 2 hours, then quit and the rest of the day was nice. I went and took the fresh corn cob down. It had been eaten a bit, but if it molded it would make the squirrels sick. I looked it up last night. I am going to just toss out the other ear and see what happens, as I think the birds might like to have some. Didn't see Nutty today, but Buddy came. I put 2 SMALL cobs out this afternoon. Buddy ate them Both. He is getting FAT. If he doesn't slow down he will be bigger than the feeder...almost there now. Nutty is in good shape..he doesn't sit and eat the whole time. He climbs down and hunts for peanuts and sunflower seeds. Anyway, I stopped at the Dollar General, and they had Toms Sports Drink on sale, so I got him an 8 pack, and some puffy Cheetohs. I was standing in line and there was a dude at the checkout. The cashier was waiting on him to do something with the payment, but he dialed his phone and started mumbling in the phone to someone. He acted like he was drunk/high...I heard him say he wasn't in any hurry, and of course I couldn't resist...I told him "I AM" then the little Black girl behind me told him he was holding up the line. He turned and asked her 3 times what she said. The last time she told him she didn't have to repeat anything to him. She works there, and was trying to pay for the stuff she had before she had to check in...So she went behind the counter. Put her stuff down and told me to come to her counter which I did. She appologized, but I told her no worries, I totally understand. As I left that dude was STILL standing there asking the cashier her name. She told him she didn't have to tell him..please just pay for his stuff. As I was going to my van, I wondered if he had driven there...as he had no business driving anywhere in the shape he was in. We had Hard/Soft tacos for supper. Tom bought a Pineapple coconut cake yesterday. I thought it would be too sweet for me, but took a bite and it was good...not real sweet. I like Pineapple as much as I like lemons. No idea what to cook for supper tomorrow night.
