We Are Spared.

Typhoon Opong [International name: Bualoi] made 5 landfalls in different provinces of the Philippines. As forecasted two to three days ago until early this morning, the eye of the storm will be 100 kilometers from where we are. But after the third landfall, it headed a bit westward, making it move away from us more. After it made its fifth landfall, it went straight to the water and will be traversing the West Philippine Sea, then finally leaving the country tomorrow. Though we are still feeling the gustiness of the winds, so far no rain, just winds and the typhoon signal here has been lowered. How is your weather?

I was a bit wary too when it was forecasted to slightly hit the capital city. Although I am pretty in a safe place since were not prone to flooding in my place l still got worried that many places are really flood prone and many billboards around the city might fall because of the strong winds.

the winds were a bit strong but no rain last night. But that is better than having more rain and winds

If from morning to evening there is no wind here and only hot air passes by. Very strong winds only occur at night, we hope the direction of the wind will keep us away from disaster.

That's good that you weren't impacted more than you were.

It's just a bit cloudy yesterday. It was signal number 1 here in my province.

Thank goodness for that. We may feel some hurricane impacts here too, but it probably won't amount to much

God is so good. Maybe God is thinking about those who were affected by the ghost project of flood control.

I saw that your part of the world was getting hit with a "super" typhoon and I'm happy to hear that it won't be affecting you. It certainly sounded scary

We have two of them one after another. The winds were scary yesterday but I am glad it went westward
