Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 73 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. We are expecting rain in a bit.
I was up early this morning so I wound up taking a 2 hour nap which was delightful. I certainly am not a worker bee. I miss my summer when I have no schedule and can do whatever I want. 
I made a batch of sourdough discard dinner rolls this morning. DELISH! I want to make something else with some discard this afternoon because the jar is almost full. I found a recipe for discard chocolate chip bread. I think my coworkers will like that. It looks fast and easy enough. I already have all of the ingredients on hand.
So that's my big update on the day. I'll finally get around to making last night's planned dinner--tomato-glazed meatloaves. I'm sure I'll get up to something else too after that nap. Hopefully I can stay up for "Have I Got News For You" tonight.
What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

I really need to start bagging up my shredding for the shredding event in October. Cousin #3 said she would take it all there. It's free and is close by.

It’s 89 degrees and humid right now in Oklahoma. I’m currently getting texts from my childhood best friend who is holed up in her husband’s air conditioned truck. One of her sons is in a band contest, and like a dutiful mother, she went. Unfortunately, this is an all day into the night contest that doesn’t care it’s way too hot. So while waiting for her son’s turn she is appreciating modern day conveniences.
