Adams is no longer running for mayor of NYC. We are left with Cuomo and Mamdani on the left and Sliwa on the right.
I don’t know if there are any other candidates on the ballot besides them but if either Cuomo or Mamdani get elected we are screwed.
Since NYC is a Democratic state I doubt it will turn red this election. I’m not losing hope though. Maybe Sliwa will pull through somehow.

I think we’d be less screwed with Sliwa.

@lovebuglena Less. But not less screwed enough to make any real impact to actually improve NYC. To me, it would just be an act to "kick the can."

@lovebuglena I knew that much. Not familiar with Marndani or Sliwa.

@LindaOHio You might be slightly familiar with Sliwa. He is a bit of a "national" figure considering he was the founder of the Guardian Angels and wears that silly red beret. He's a conservative, but I don't think he's any better of a choice than the other two, personally. NYC is screwed no matter what happens.
