Nature seems to bully me. I have sown seeds for years and they always germinate at the times each variety needs it but this time although I see two leaves the next set of leaves are not showing It is time for them to show up Because it has been raining the weather is cool and I know when the weather is cool plants do not grow the normal way It is September and this is the right time to sow seeds but nature has other plans I give up

Given how prevalent global climate change is these days, I believe you should be extremely aware of the weather. Given the erratic weather we are currently experiencing, timing is just as important as patience in this situation. It is my hope that your enthusiasm for planting will not diminish.

@allknowing Yes, I guess it's unfortunate that your passion for planting is being tested. There is no choice but to adapt to these changes so that you can continue to enjoy your passion for planting.

@rsa101 Giving up is out of the question but frustration will be there.

I know how frustrating that is. Even the season flowers in my garden have started shedding their petals. Sometimes the sun is trying its heat on everything, at other times the rain rushes its heat. The body temperature too is fluctuating. All in a state of dance.
