What does it mean to say you have or have had a "good life?"
Is it based on the income you received? Is it based on the status you achieved?
I had a horrible childhood and lots of colorful and scary moments throughout adulthood, but I can still stay that I've had a "good life."
I learned from my mistakes. I had fun and adventure. I didn't just "exist." I loved and was loved. And most of all I have Christ in my life.

That's a powerful perspective. It's inspiring how you define a good life not by what happened to you, but by how you grew from it. Turning "colorful and scary" moments into a narrative of learning and love takes real strength.
For me, a good life is about that same sense of purpose and connection. It's less about status and more about having peace in your home, genuine people around you, and waking up excited for the day. It sounds like you've built exactly that.
What's a small, everyday thing that makes your life feel good right now?

We need both money and social recognition for a good life. The most important thing is peace in the family. We can't live in a family where there's no love and mutual understanding.

Though I'm still living, I feel life in its countless moments expresses itself through me. So how I am living it, is more important than what I'm taking from it. I am amply grateful for being alive, for getting to see the mature in all its powerful aspects, being what I am meant to be at a particular moment, though I've been at odds for allowing my mind go haywire many a times. A constant search for purpose and respecting minor achievements or observing miracles, or giving a bit of myself, in whatever way I can, is what my definition of a good life is.

Good company , good health and enough money to pay the bills with a bit left over, ……and time …..to enjoy the first three things.

I would have to say to define a “good life” I have no complaints about
how my life has turned out at my age, BUT I would say I've had a BLESSED
life to survive as I have from the life I've lived.
