September Comes To An End

Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's a nice day here today and I'm really enjoying it. I know it's not going to last and the cold weather will be here before we know it. The evenings are getting darker quicker than I'd like. Today is the last day of September and tomorrow will be October. A day that means a lot to me as it's the day I became a mom (many years ago). This is the first time my daughter will be away for her birthday (she and my son in law are on a cruise) so our birthday celebrations won't be until they get back. I remember bringing her home from the hospital as if it was yesterday. Time flies by way too fast. While she's away celebrating her birthday my big plans for tomorrow starts with a doctor appointment . it's just routine and I don't know if I'll have to have bloodwork done but will fast tonight just in case. That way I can get it done right there in the lab if he orders it. Today is just a normal, routine day. Been shredding a whole bunch of old bills which is a pain and I don't know why I have them since they're years old. Of course when I emptied the shredder basket half of it spilled on the floor so I had to clean up that mess and wound up vacuuming the whole downstairs. Even though vacuuming wasn't on my radar for today, at least it's done now and I can mentally cross it off my "to do" list. I have chicken in the crockpot with teriyaki sauce for our dinner tonight. It's already starting to smell really good and will probably drive my daughter crazy that she'll be smelling it all day while she works. That about sums up my day so far. How's your day going?
