Good afternoon.

We've had a wet, rainy morning, but that's okay. George took a little walk, and spent time outside. He's back in now and I'll be working on his tube here soon, but nothing to bad. Our yard looks like it could use some work, but I think we'll work that out. At least I've been paid, and paid some bills in the process.

Sounds like a peaceful, productive morning despite the rain Glad George got to enjoy some fresh air and that you've got the bills sorted. That's always a good feeling.

Well, some of them at least. Bills always need paying sadly.

@kaylachan Ain't that the truth! It's a never-ending cycle, but at least getting them paid brings some peace of mind.

We had one of those yesterday. It was nice for a change. George is really being active lately isn't he? Busy guy.

I get to order my groceries tomorrow and have a vivid picture of me standing in pouring rain waiting for the delivery person. SIGH

I know we've been getting some spotty rain here and there in north Florida, but thankfully we dodged a bullet with Imelda. I know it was never really in danger of hitting us, but it was forecast to be close enough to the Atlantic coast of Florida that caused me to at least be a little bit concerned. One shift to the left or one wobble and it could have put the storm right over us.

I know. George and I were at our favorite resort when it passed by, and a woman was checking in. She was a little freaked out, because she'd never been through a storm. We were safe, and I felt just as safe on the 10th floor, then I would've been at home.
