Foxborough police officer Brendan Fayles recently was reward as a hero by his superiors for his act of bravery when he was able to save a driver who was under the influence when he crashed his auto into a home on Friday July 25.
When the auto crash happened, the auto caught fire when Officer Fayles took action to break the side window and rescue the driver who was inside of the burning auto safely.
The Foxborough firefighters then arrived after Officer Fayles rescued the driver to put out the fire.
The name of driver who was involved in the auto accident was not released to the public was taken to a hospital, faced charges of driving under the influence.
I am sure that Officer Fayles is just saying he was doing his job to serve his community even though he wil accept his award for his act of heroism of saving a life.

It was good the guy was saved from the fire, and let's hope he had a wake-up call not to drink and drive again.

Driving under the influence is such a dumb thing to do. Glad he was able to be saved, and that Brendan was rewarded for his bravery.
