Vegetables

I am all geared up to eating vegetables as never before. I am also geared up to grow my own vegetables.
Of the lot you see in the picture I have sown a few and I see them germinating The weather at the moment seems conducive and I only hope that nature helps me with my plans
My favourite among them is the brinjal.
What is your story?

@allknowing oh if there is such an insect then you should be watchful for them. I hope there would be some kind of insecticide to protect your seedlings.

I have the seeds of carrots, beetroot and radish which I have yet to plant. Tomatoes seedlings are showing

I tried with tomatoes, calmansi (citrus), lemon
but worms like them so much, eat their leaves

All I can get are canned or frozen so I do not eat many vegetables,

@RasmaSandra Canned or frozen vegetables I suppose could take care of your vegetable needs. Not having a fresh vegetable store around is quite rare.

@allknowing Not near me and I only have my two feet to take me places, I am much too much of an anxious person to try to find where and how I can go, We are in a pretty isolated area, Only store I know is two block down a Circle K convenience store, and then some fast food places and pizza parlors along our big avenue,

The trees have grown taller letting in a bit of the sun and that is what has enthused me.

We usually grow brinjals, tomatoes, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, radish, carrots, and peas in our garden. Fingers crossed.

The older I've gotten the more I enjoy vegetables. I wish I had room to plant a garden and the only thing we have is a small pot with a cherry tomato plant.

I have grown tomatoes and that was a long time ago. I have now sown seeds of different vgegetables.
