Are you living or simply existing?

I live life. Sure, my life may not seem very exciting to you, but it works for me. I don't want to get to that point where I'm just existing. I am mindful of my friendship and my wins and my losses. I experience life. For right now, until @porwest wraps me up in bubble wrap for safety reasons, I'm still traveling and seeing the world. I have meaningful relationships. I have activities. I am LIVING! I feel sorry for those people who either went their whole lives just "existing" or have reached a spot in their lives where they're just existing. Despite any handicaps or issues we can all still live life.

You just reminded me of something I might see if I can get a deal on during that Amazon Prime Days thing. I live my life the way I want to, and so I don't think I am just existing. Are there things on my bucket list? Sure. We all have one missing a few checkmarks. I have no regrets though, and I enjoy every minute I am allowed to remain on this Earth.

Life is what you make it, there's a lot of things in life people can do to enjoy life & there's a lot of people that just take life for granted, to just get by day to day.

That's nice to hear. Life is not always a bed of roses. Sometimes wild, sometimes calm, but always moving forward. I choose to live gracefully, fruitfully, and purposely. Recently, I rekindled my passion for teaching and returned to the academe. And I feel good about myself. By pursuing my passion, I am modelling to my daughter that life doesn't stop after giving birth.

It's all in the mindset. Considering one's situation, environmental and biological, can one determine whether one is living or existing. This is a thought that invariably comes to everyone at some point of time in their lives.
