How much does God love us? If we go to calculate and measure, we may never surmise. I sometimes wonder, why people look for love in people. I keep the parent-child relationship outside. The kind of love youngsters show, or suffer from, and the consequent actions they take, does not even touch the definition of love. The moment we think we are alone, is tantamount to declaring that we deny the existence of God. When in times, we feel extremely low, who do we turn to? So why is it, that though blessed with parents and grandparents, some people resort to proclaiming that they are lonely just because, they have been rejected or disapproved of by their 'lovers'? I think, those who know love, love themselves and find peace in solitude, are the ones who are in real connection with God. Some are blessed to feel it in the prime of their lives, others, later. Does the approval or disapproval of a human being count at all, when it comes to getting greater love from above, free of cost? Some would argue, that 'No man is an island'. How then are people as young as 17-year-olds, in certain places, leaving families, to live a secluded life? 'Those are exceptions'. Definitely so. No one is engineered to understand, the all -expansive form of God's love, till they notice daily miracles. I feel, the real wealth in spirit and practice, lies in realizing that, God alone matters and no one else. For a time will come when even those we love, will leave. And that is devastating.
