Conclusion of my gas price report from the American Northwest.

In a previous post, I described the decrease in gas prices as I drove from the California Bay Area to Lewistown Montana. Gas was around $4.55/gallon for Regular in the Bay Area, and was at about $3.29 in Lewistown. I decided to take the "Western Route" home from my cabin, which involves Montana, Northern Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. Gas prices remained (by my California standards) relatively low as I filled up in Missoula Montana, Eastern Oregon, and Portland Oregon. By biggest surprise occurred when I got to Northern California. . Not only did I find an Arby's there, for my final road trip culinary indulgence, but gas prices in the Northerm-most parts of California were still under $4.00. As I approached the San Francisco Bay Area, prices increased, until, they reached the $4.55 level I had been used to in the Bay Area before my departure. Gas prices have increased by about five per cent here since I got "home" in late August, but they are still well under $5.00/gallon. How are gas prices where you live? Do you like Arby's as much as I do?

@wolfgirl569 Heh. Can I make something similar to Horsey Sauce if I had just a hint of horseradish to Marie's blue cheese dressing? Inquiring minds want to know.

I am trying to create an Arby's sandwich in my home. It is a nuanced process, but I am determined to succeed.

I am not surprised that gas prices have increased, the crude oil rose to 64.35 USD/Bbl on October 3, 2025, up 0.37% from the previous day. There are chances it will go up more.

@TheHorse Yes, it's because of supply data, we are going toward a cold season and more oil is needed.

Do the analysts claim to know why that is?

Yesterday I saw $3.19 on my trip to the hospital. It's been a long time since I had Arby's food.

I saw one $3.09 on my trip. But that may have been a cash price. $3.19 was my "gotta stop here" price.

Fuel prices are high here, we often go to neighboring states and fill up on fuel.

Our gas is averaging about $3.29-$3.39 a gallon for the last few weeks. That seems high to me, when southern IL. prices are under $3.00, but it's always that way. Arby's...you know I am not a lover of fast food. Arby's is iffy. That ''cheese sauce'' they dump on stuff is nasty. The son used to like Arby's.

Heh. I tried a bite with "Arby's Original Sauce," or whatever they call it. It was terrible! But Horsey Sauce is like nectar to me.

I do like a Jamocha shake. Gas is always lower in Oklahoma than the majority of states, and today’s was $2.61.
