Good evening I'm so happy to see how many old members are still here and that many of you remember me. I've always been grateful for the support I've received here, but the pressure I felt in real life was so exhausting that I had to step back. Now I'm back and I hope I won't take long breaks. Have you been away from the site for a long time?

I was away from this site for about three months in 2020 when Hurricane Laura passed over Lake Charles which knocked out electrical power for a few months.

@Nevena83 Hurricane Laura was a category 4 which knocked out electricity for about one month and internet came back one month later.

I did take about a 3 month break once. I think it’s normal to be overwhelmed with life sometimes, and you have to do whatever you feel is best for you personally. That is totally understandable.

I only come on once a week unless I have a doctor appointment. I may have miss maybe three weeks next month because I am going on a trip.

I have had a couple of hiatuses from here from time to time. I think the longest was about six months and was mostly due to a personal boycott of the site.
