Spring has come. And my legs won´t let me go up to where the vaccuum cleaner is.
My room is in great need of a better cleaning and maybe a spray with Raid to kill bugs. Yesterday I killed a tiny spider in my bed and today I found another one.
I am terrified of spiders, specially after I was bitten by one around 3 years ago. I am sure that that spider was a close cousin to the brown recluse. The bite took 3 months to heal and it left me a mark that is there up to now.
Tonight I found another tiny spider in my bed. I used my hands but it scaped. So I had to throw the laptop and start searching. At night, with old eyes and clumsy hands and fingers it is not easy.
But finally I got it.
In spite of it running around bed among all sorts of things (my bed is also my desk
) finally I could see a still black mark of what had been IT. Triumph!!!
I wish bugs stayed out of the house. I don´t mind them in the garden and neither does Luna. But the inside is for people.
Do you have such problems?

I don´t have them here but Dixie is always full of them. And they are hard to kill. Nobody wants to have the house smelling of sprays for bugs.

I get ants and mice. Hopefully with a lot of entry points plugged up, they will be less...Terminix has baited and trapped in the basement; so hopefully the mice won't come upstairs.

I could not live with mice. I am terrified by them. Tania has some where she lives. While she was in Spain, they got into her jeep and destroyed the foam of the sitting places.

The main thing I am now bothered by is a palm tree rat. A little thing that comes and goes so to keep peace sometimes I put out some bread for it,

Rats are terrible. They are cunning so they know how to open pot lids and the like.

I did not see it because it was in my back. But the whole area was itchy and it hurt.

I have had ants inside the house twice in over 20 years. But they are pests. In many places I got rid of them the way my grandma did: I poured boiling water in the holes.

@marguicha We can not figure where they are coming from. Lemon water kills them to.

We get stink bugs and I agree they need to stay outside.

I mosptly use Raid spray to kill roaches. Once in a while they come in. I don´t know if The spray kills them or I drown them with it.
