Gone longer than I thought.

What should've been a two hour outing, turned into a four hour one. I haven't even started laundry yet, but I did have time to eat this morning. So, I'll take one over the other. Laundry will get done. Spending the time, riding in the van with George, in my opinion was more valuable. He wanted to just drive. So we wound up just driving around a bit, before we reached Winn-Dixie.
We got our shopping done, which I'm thankful for. The weather was perfect, too. I'm thankful for that, too.
We're home now and I'll be working on George's tube here soon.

My ex-husband and I used to do a lot of just driving around. It was fun to not have any place in mind and just driving down the road.

@kaylachan .......That sounds like a nice drive. I would like to go for a drive around town. There is an old bridge that was reconstructed over 4 years ago and I still haven't been able to drive by and see it. Ubers don't do that sort of thing.

Well, we did need to go to the store, but we did a lot of just driving before we got there. So much so, that George stopped at a wawa for me to get a second soda, because the one I brought from home was gone before we got to the store.
