Jaffa cakes are one of my most favourite things.
Lovely sponge topped with zesty orange then chocolate.
The big debate is whether it’s a cake or a biscuit ….
The answer is in the name …..JAFFA CAKE
A cake is soft then goes hard
A biscuit is hard then goes soft
There used to be 12 Jaffa cakes in a pack ….now there are only 10 ….. what’s going on !
Do you like Jaffa cakes ?

@traceyjayne So comforting. You can be sure that the reduction in the number of cakes per packet is not reflected in the price.

@Traceyjayne Well you’ve got me in the notion for a Jaffa cake now. I’ve to go out later so I might just get some.

Not only is there less in a packet, but they are also smaller in size. I used to eat them in two bites, now I just shove them into my mouth in one. Still tasty, but less satisfying.
P.S. I’m pleased you gave the answer first to what is soft then goes hard? Likewise, what is hard then goes soft? My immediate thoughts wouldn’t have been cake and biscuit!

I've never heard of them. Many US companies cut back the sizes of products and still charge the same amount.
