We’ve spent a couple of nights, though not consecutively, in Mukinbudin. For a small town, it has a few nice attractions. The caravan park is well-appointed. It has a laundry with 2 washing machines and two dryers.
We saw these three red hats on a street corner so I guess there is a Ladies’ Red Hat Society in the town. The Red Hat Society (RHS) was founded in 1998 in the United States. Originally it was intended for women aged 50 plus but now it is open to women of all ages and is an international organisation.

They formed a group in a nearby town and it was supposed to be just getting together and enjoying the company and outings etc which I think is the purpose of the society but it wasn't long before they were fund-raising for this, that and the other.

Well, that's a site you don't see every day.

There is a Men's Shed in the town so I guess they did the hats.
