Home made chicken, leek and mushroom pie….. / myLot

I’m so lucky that my Mom is a great cook and loves cooking. We get home cooked meals, from scratch , every week. Today we are having home made chicken, leek and mushroom pie, with baby potatoes and peas. Oohhh , it sounds delicious, and I am really looking forward to it. Chicken is my favourite and I do eat it often. What’s your favourite meal ?

Damn you. Back when @CarolDM was on here, she used to talk all the time about grilled cheese sandwiches, and finally I had to succumb to her talking about them. Suddenly a grilled cheese sandwich sounds really good again. But I prefer it with tomato soup.

@Traceyjayne It's the only time I will actually make a tomato soup, honestly. To me, the two just go together. I'm not going to knock chicken noodle soup together with a grilled cheese sandwich though.

Leeks are one of those things I see the price of and usually substitute with onions. lol. But leeks ARE really good. But this sounds absolutely delicious. Is it like a pot pie? As for a favorite meal, I refuse to choose. Anything I like to eat is a favorite when I am eating it. lol
