Cutting down the trees ….. / myLot

So last night I was aware that the neighbour opposite us had moved all the cars from the drive …..oohhh, what’s going to be happening I wondered ….. This morning I was woken up by vans arriving …. Turns out they are having …..what seems like …..all the trees cutting back/down. So many branches and logs have been brought round from the back garden and put through the shredder. They had to take the lorry away to empty it then came back for more. They have just finished , it’s taken about 4 hours. They have tidied up and swept up all the extra bits. Seems like a job well done.

We saw afterwards that the guy next door also had trees cut down….i guess they shared the cost which is understandable. We do have huge gardens so there were a lot of trees in both gardens.

@JudyEv that’s very true ….took 4 hours but everything was cleaned up and taken away.

Sounds like it was a very noisy morning there with all that tree cutting and shredding.

@Traceyjayne my noisy day is usually Thursday when they come to cut the grass and the mowers are loud

It was noisy but not for too long, it was only the shredder that made the noise

My dad had to cut back a lot of trees in his backyard due to the possibility of them taking the neighbor’s house down in bad weather. Since we live in tornado alley, that’s a real possibility.
