Firefighters rescue 2 dogs who were inside of a home on fire

Firefighters in Niskayuna New York answered an emergency call on Thursday afternoon when a house caught fire. When the firefighters arrived on scene, they saw smoke on the hallway of the second floor of the home. The firefighters were able to rescue two dogs who were inside of the burning house safely. A neighbor took care of the two dogs until their owner who was not home at the time would return home. The fire started in the bedroom on the second floor. The fire was put out quickly with the result being minimal damage to the house. The authorities believe that the fire was an accident with no one getting hurt in the incident.
