I’ve written about the gigantic tractor that graces the small town of Carnamah in Western Australia. A news article today says that, since the installation of the Chamberlain tractor, tourism has increased a great deal. The original Chamberlain 40K was Western Australia’s first locally manufactured tractor.
Tourists would visit the town through the wildflower season but now they’re coming ‘out of season’ as it were to see the tractor. Many stay an extra night or two as well. The café has taken on more staff and they now sell little biscuits (cookies) shaped like tractors. Chamberlain merchandise also sells well.
The photo was taken earlier this year when we visited the town.

That’s so cool! Obviously, since I spent so much time stopping at every “tourist trap” on Route 66, I love things like that!

I'm always attracted to see the biggest things too.
