This is an actual Austrian musical group who uses instruments made entirely from fresh vegetables. Here are some facts: * The group was founded in 1998 by a group of friends while making soup together and brainstorming a performance for upcoming students festival. * The group was awarded a Guiness World Record after playing 344 concerts over the course of 27 years. The picture is from guinessworldrecords.com * They use leeks, carrots, pumpkins, and cucumbers. This includes carrot recorders, leek violins, pumpkin drums, and cucumber phones. * They also use celery, bell peppers, and parsnips.

Isn't that amazing? I've seen a 'gourd orchestra' and that was pretty good too.

I thought so. I've seen some pretty things carved out of gourds but never something like this.
