I got a call a few minutes ago from a lady from the Department of Rehabilitation wanting to make an appointment with me at the the DOR, which is two towns over. I said that I would call someone to see if I could get a ride and when--the DOR lady first said she would schedule me at two, but to call back when I got a hold of my ride to see what they said.
I called my "social worker" (not sure what her title is, but she was the visitor I had the other day), and she said she couldn't get here until 2:30 p.m.
So, I called the DOR lady back and left a message, and I guess I'm waiting for her to call back, and then I'll call the "social worker" person back. 
In a bit, though, I need to go and take the neighbors' dog for a walk.

It finally got worked out. I'm getting a ride at an actual time on an actual day on the calendar.

@xstitcher Could be, but she might've told you if she was. All the social workers I've ever known, do.

I don't know if that's actually her title--she's my "worker" from an organization called "Buckelew".
