Two New York Police Department (NYPD) Officers answered an emergency call from the mother of an 10 month old boy named Makai who had trouble breathing in the home of his mother on Friday afternoon October 10. Two NYPD officers whose names were not released entered the home and they worked together to pat Makai on the back to clear the blockage that caused his breathing problem. The second NYPD officer then took to rub his back so that Makai would breathe again. Makai was then taken by an ambulance to Elmhurst Hospital Center where he is in stable condition. Poor little guy. I wonder if he has medical issues. A knew of a small baby who had issues swallowing and his throat hadn't developed right. He would projectile vomit his food because he couldn't swallow right. Very sad and scary.

As a worker in a children's home I have to be always alert to avoid such dangers.
