Good Morning and Happy weekend friends.
Today is my birthday.My brother has bought one chudidhar for my birthday.Mom bought prawns and mushrooms , preserved in fridge yesterday.She is going to prepare a delicious South Indian thaali for lunch.Friends have asked to take them to the movie.I have booked tickets 2days ago.we are going for a morning show today.In school days my birthdays were celebrated with 2rs chocolates, one sweet and some mixture packed in a pouch and distributed to the classmates.Now it is a matter of so much spending of money for movies for restaurants

.But never have celebrated with cake cutting, balloon decorations till now
How did you celebrate your birthdays in school days?

@Kusumakrishna - I was shy and I never wanted too many people around.

Happy birthday!
My birthday falls on a holiday, so I normally wasn't in school on my birthday.

We invited a few friends to our farm to share cake, ice cream and stay overnight. They ate dinner and breakfast with us before going home again.

@Kusumakrishna It can be, yes.
Pretty and I ignore our birthdays mostly. We do say happy birthday to each other and might have cake with out lunch or dinner but we don't buy presents or anything else. Parties are for kids, really.

Happy Belated Birthday!! When I was Kindergarten, I got celebrate my birthday with my class. I never had a real birthday party because my birthday is in the winter. I always had a birthday cake though. My great-aunt made cakes as a hobby/side hustle. She passed away a few years ago. Now my mother makes me cakes now.
