Normally every hotel we stay in has a free breakfast or at least one you can pay for
But we’re at a Candlewood Inn which is like efficiencies and there’s no food
Luckily i always pack protein bars with me
It’s 7:17 am and my friend is taking her shower while I’m making coffee
Our ride to the cruise ship is at 10:30
What are you up to today?

I am not a breakfast eater, but I have partaken of free breakfast offerings occasionally. We usually stay at Wyndhams, most often at the La Quinta brand, but I used to stay at Super 8 and Baymont Inn (all of these are Wydham branded hotels) and all of them always had breakfast. Usually cereal, a waffle maker, eggs, bacon or sausage, the usual fare. I have never stayed at a Candlewood Inn. Weird they don't offer breakfast.

Some studies show that people who skip breakfast are healthier. While some say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Who to believe?

I am going to place a second instagram order. It should be interesting. I think I will try Walmart which there are 3 all of about 45 minutes from here, so I wonder which one will deliver it?

I don’t care for Candlewood. I have a “pecking order” of hotels in the Holiday Inn chain, and they’re right above the “Holiday Inn.” I usually stay at a Holiday Inn Express or the Staybridge for a suite (they do have breakfast and free laundry!).
It’s noon here, so you should be at the port by now. Have fun, and hope you miss the hurricane!!

UK hotels can feel a bit lacking. Standard breakfast offer is continental (toast, pastries, cereal, fruit, yoghurt), plus tea/coffee. Many add a self-serve hot buffet: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, and hash browns. But all of these will cost extra; breakfast is rarely included in the price. B&Bs tend to cook fresh and include regional bits like black pudding or tattie scones if you’re up north.
