The bread I made is truly scrumptious

I spent most of Sunday afternoon making an apple butter muffin chai bread. This took 21 ingredients, usually I stay away from things that have too many ingredients, but this seemed like it would be worth it, and it really is. However, it is quite rich and tastes more like a cake than a bread. I thought if I liked it, I would make it for Thanksgiving..and I do.. I have never really had a spicy bread before have you?

@1creekgirl Not really it's a combo. It has a fair amount of town sugar in. If you decide to make it, you will need your favorite souls chef Dake, as UT is slot if work.

@snowy22315 Is it more savory than sweet?

That sounds quite tasty! I can’t remember the last time I made any bread. Maybe zucchini bread about four years ago.

I like zuchinni bread, but I don't think I ever made it. This apple bread is worthy of NJChicca...

@AmbiePam I was just thinking if I sold a loaf of this I would charge 8 dollars, which actually would be a bargain. It reminds me a bit of a designer bread a bakery in Northern Virginia sold..Apple Scrapple..but that had more cinnamon in, this has more spice.

It was time consuming. I broke it into steps. The inky thing is I couldn't find my nutmeg, and I didn't have cardammin. They said you could substitute coriander I also used pumpkin pie spuce. The end result was it tasted very much like chau. A small amount if pepper was in it etc.

@snowy22315 - I had to buy nutmegs through Amazon because I could find anywhere in the stores. I always have cardamom seeds in my pantry. I threw a few spices when we moved here, but I have a large choice of spices.

I'm not a spicy food fan. I haven't heard of this bread before. Glad you like it.

I do, if you don't like spice, you may not Luke this.

I've never eaten spicy bread, I like spicy food but it seems like no one sells that type of bread here.
