Shenandoah Texas Police Officer Patrick Reade answered an emergency call from the mother of an 11 year old girl who ran away from her mom since the child was going to a hospital to deal with mental health issues on Friday October 17.
The 11 year old girl was running on the main lanes of Interstate 45 when Officer Reade went to have a chat with the 11 year old was on a guardrail who most likely wanted to end her life.
Officer Reade managed to convince the girl by grabbing her arm that ending her life is not worth it.
Officer Reade hopes that the girl receives medical help for her mental health problem.

He did admit that saving the girl was like saving the life of his own child.

It is a sure sign on the deterioration to society these days, that such young people need to be protected from themselves, and helped with their mental health issues.
