Weather forecast?

Who really knows what the weather will bring to us. I have seen some sun the last hour or so. First I have seen of it since Sunday. It is windy. I am finishing a cup of hot bouillon and I went in the bedroom to turn on our heated mattress pad, so I can grab a nap. Both of the cats were already on the bed, warming it up. They seem to think it is chilly. I think they are right. It is fall, Halloween is this week. I have seen it snow big, fat, flakes at this time of year. If it was a bit colder we would have white stuff falling today. Since Saturday we have had more than five inches of precipitation. The ground is soggy. I hope you are all staying warm. I am trying to.

I am probably in the minority, but I like the time change and wish it would just stay put year round. Of course this means I am not driving in to work in the dark.

@GardenGerty And I love the extra hour of daylight in the evening. Oh well, the days will start getting longer again in December.

That does sound a bit of a miserable day. It's a bit miserable here too but should fine up soon.

I’m always hot, so the fact that I’m not says the weather has definitely changed. It’s been very nice not having to run the air conditioning or heater. It was really windy and wet this morning, but the sun is shining very nicely now.

I keep the thermostat at 67 in the winter. The heat has been kicking in off and on. I am glad to have the furnace, though.

Our weather in Florida is now in the 60s and gray and dreary. Some parts of Florida are flooded but we are OK,
