I have to say that I'm surprised because he seems to have about as much of a backbone as jellyfish Mitch McConnell, Tommy Tuberville, and James Comer. Johnson was a constitutional lawyer--who knew--and he is saying that he spoke with Trump and told him that there is no real way for him to have a 3rd term.
Johnson says that it would take at least 10 years to change the amendment and that Trump is simply "trolling" Democrats with his Trump 2028 hats. I don't know if I believe that though. Trump advisor Steve Bannon said in recent days that Trump will have a 3rd term and there is a plan in place.
Honestly with the way Trump has looked/behaved over the past few months I don't even understand why he would want to attempt it aside from his insane ego. He is elderly. He is not in good health. Supposedly he has a gazillion dollars. Like go live out your life bro.

Why did he have an MRI during his semi-annual “annual physical” last month?
The reason he won’t go “live out his life” is he’s way too much of a megalomaniac to quietly fade away.
