Have You Read About These Conjoined Twins?

I read about these two about a year ago. What a story! They are conjoined twins and probably the longest living ones., Abigail and Brittany Hensel were born on March 7, 1990, in Minnesota. Each of them has a heart, stomach, pair of lungs, and spinal cord. They have separate heads, and arms. Each twin managed one side of their bodies. They do things like clapping and such simultaneously. They are dicephalic parapagus twins. (To learn about their body structures and how they get around you can go to the URL below.) When they were born their parents decided not to risk trying to have them separated when they heard both would not likely survive and their quality of life would be less separate than that of conjoined people.
They have led pretty interesting lives having appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996 and had a TV series on TLC in 2012. There have also been several documentaries done about their lives.
These types of twins rarely live to adulthood yet these two graduated high schools and went on to college majoring in education. The two became teachers in 2013 and as of 2025 they continue to teach fifth grade at Sunnyside Elementary in New Brighton, Minnesota.
They seem happy and well adjusted. In 2021 Abby married Josh Bowling.

I know that conjoined twins have handled marriage; but it leads to so many questions.

@celticeagle I think they're the ones that are featured on the MyLot pages all of the time. At least on my feed they are.

They are amazing. I have seen them on television off and on since they were children.

@celticeagle I can’t even imagine. They do seem well adjusted in the interviews that I have seen. That is a good thing.
