Between the rain and the sore bones and the sinus pain I'm not going anywhere today. I have a follow-up appointment on Friday right after my mammogram. I'll have plenty of pain then to make me forget my sinuses for a few minutes. Then I'll dance! And this is one of the songs I'll rock out to! #3: The Ballroom Blitz - Sweet My real introduction to glam rock came with this song. Well, "Little Willy," The Sweet's 1972 hit, is now called "glam rock," but I thought it was more "bubblegum" in 1972. (But what did I know, I was in love with Don Rich back then. ) This song still rocks, 50 years later. You may recall that I used this for the 50-year-old song list this year. (Ouch, that means 1976 will be the 50-year-old song list next year. ) If we're all around in eleven years I'll use it for the 60 year old list in 2036. This is a great song.
