This is interesting. After a disastrous TV interview about Jeffrey Epstein and sex trafficking victim Virginia Guiffre Andrew's mother, Queen Elizabeth II, stripped him of his honorary titles and removed him as a working member of the royal family. He was angry and remained defiant to the point that he was allowed to wear his military uniform at a vigil after his mother's death (Prince Harry was too) and possibly at the actual funeral. I don't remember.
Well now his brother, King Charles III, is stripping him of the title of "prince". That is interesting because as the child of a monarch he is entitled to it and I didn't realize it could be removed. He will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. He also is being kicked out of the taxpayer-funded Royal Lodge and will live in a home at Sandringham that is privately funded by the king. He's been sharing Royal Lodge with ex-wife Sarah "Fergie" Ferguson for the past 20 years. It is unclear if she will be moving there with him.
The news about him being evicted from Royal Lodge is not a shocker but the fact that he will no longer be a prince is.

@njchicaa He always was troublesome. His finances also may now come under police scrutiny. The whole system is suspect and outdated and needs to be replaced, not just pruned. Your esteemed leader may yet get to buy one of the castles the UK may now want to sell. I’m confident he could turn it into something tacky and tasteless.

I guess if you are born a prince it does not mean you will remain a prince,
