Back from Food Bank...

There was a slow start today, but it seemed like they were giving out more food than usual. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that they know that those of us with EBT cards aren't going to get our money next month. In any case, I'm thanking the Lord that I have food--I'll need to use some of it to try to make something for Wednesday night potluck dinner so it doesn't go bad. After I post this and put the food away, I'll head over to the grocery store and see if I can get a couple of things to use up the money on my EBT card, as if I don't use it it will disappear. Not going to the gym today, but I almost feel like I did after lugging all of that food home in my cart. Have a great morning/afternoon/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land, and I will "see" you all later!

These food banks are going to be so busy.I’m grateful for them, too.

Well a walk counts as a workout. So I'm sure you can skip the gym for a day.

I did some minimal shopping this morning. I have recovered from my Senior Moment.

Thank goodness you have more food coming from the food bank until the government reopens soon.

@xstitcher Same with me that I received an email that my relatives and myself can use the food stamps program for this month even though the amount of money will be smaller.
