That wal-mart run went well.

Once again, George wanted to drive a little, so we drove down our old road where we had our first two appartments as a couple. We drove past both of them, and someone had a pumpkin on the door. Kind've like how we'd something on the door each year.
I'm getting to the point where I can wheel myself around Wal-mart and not even feel a thing. Lifting my chair in and out of the van isn't that hard, either.
We turned a 112 dollar cart into a 13 dollar cart. I'm thankful for that, too.
George is watching t.v. and has his daily glass of water. I don't push it to hard so long as he's feeling okay.

It's not to bad here. Then again my house is made of stone so it traps heat well. I don't have to keep the heater running constantly.

Well, I forgot. But, basically, my OTC card (which I've mentioned before) paid for the bulk of our grocery order. So, my out-of-pocket expense was only 13 dollars. I also used this time to stock up on high ticket items that cost an arm and a leg reguardless of store, so I'm always ahead in the event we can't get to the store.

We're good, and we're not piss poor by any means. We've had less, lived on less, and the cost of living wasn't any better. Lower, sure, but you're talking about going back years. Walmart's been one of the few stores that are around here with consistantly lower priceses generally. We also have a few Aldi and a few other low-cost options that aren't dramatically impacted by inflation.
I understand and thank you for your concern, but we're doing pretty good.
