Do you feel good when the laundry is done ?

So when we came back from closing up the caravan I had lots of washing to do. Apart from the clothes I had the towels and bedclothes from the caravan. The towels were done when we got home but I still had the bedclothes. I got those done today and they are drying in front of the fire now.I feel a big sense of relief and achievement at getting all the laundry done in such a short space of time. Do you feel good when all your laundry is done ?

It does feel like an accomplishment, especially when there is a lot piled up after a trip. I do laundry thrice a week. I did it in the morning and they are out drying. When I go home, I have to fold and iron. I have one load from weekend to iron.

Yes, I do! My laundry hamper is empty and everything is folded and put away! It's funny how a simple thing like that makes your day. No one ever told me being a senior citizen would have such things like that.

Yes, and I like when I wash the bed sheets and I go to sleep in a clean bed.

@traceyjayne When I get our laundry done and put away I find myself thinking “Well at least I’ve done something correctly”. That makes me feel good.

Well yes... but you can guarantee someone will drop something in the basket practically straight away so I don't get to enjoy the 'all done' feeling for very long
